CEO & Creative Director
Alpenglow Media was founded by filmmaker and photographer Saman Rezapour, whose unconventional path into production shaped a cinematic style rooted in clarity, authenticity, and human connection. What began as solo creative work has grown into a production company that collaborates with a trusted network of directors, producers, cinematographers, and editors, scaling the right team for each project. Saman leads every production with sharp creative instincts and a refined eye for stillness, movement, and light. His work spans commercial shoots, brand campaigns, and cinematic storytelling for outdoor, lifestyle, and purpose-driven clients across Canada, the USA, and Europe.
Justus Lowry
Director & Cinematographer
Justus Lowry is a director and director of photography with a strong focus on visual storytelling rooted in authenticity and craft. His work balances thoughtful composition with a cinematic approach, allowing stories to unfold naturally on screen. Justus has collaborated with Alpenglow Media as both a director and DP, contributing across commercial and documentary-style productions with a clear creative vision and steady leadership on set. He continues to work on a range of commissioned and independent projects, bringing a collaborative mindset and attention to detail to every stage of the filmmaking process.
Alex Young
Creative Producer
Alex Yooung is a creative producer with a strong foundation in shaping projects from early concept through to delivery. With a keen eye for structure, story, and logistics, she helps translate ideas into clear, executable production plans. Alex has collaborated with Alpenglow Media as a creative producer, supporting projects through development, coordination, and on-set execution while keeping creative intent and practical realities aligned. She continues to work across a range of commercial and documentary-driven projects, bringing a thoughtful, organized, and collaborative approach to every production.
Jillian Wilkes
Cinematographer
Jillian Wilkes is a self-taught photographer turned cinematographer with a deep interest in documenting stories that explore the relationship between humans and the natural world. Drawing on her background in psychology, she builds trust quickly and creates environments where authentic narratives can unfold organically. Jillian has worked closely with Alpenglow Media as both a cinematographer and production assistant, contributing across multiple stages of production with a calm presence and strong attention to detail. She continues to work on personal and commissioned projects that aim to educate audiences and shift perspectives through thoughtful storytelling and imagery.
Marc Caringal
Creative Director
Marc Caringal is a creative director with over 15 years of experience across marketing, advertising, and design. Now based in Vancouver, he works as a freelance creative, supporting projects through creative direction, branding, and visual design. Marc has collaborated with Alpenglow Media across select projects, working closely with the team to align brand strategy, creative direction, and visual execution. He continues to partner with brands and production teams to develop thoughtful, cohesive creative work across a range of platforms.
Kyle Baines
Photographer & Production Assistant
Kyle Baines is a photographer and production assistant with a strong eye for detail and a practical, hands-on approach to production. His work blends observational photography with a clear understanding of on-set workflows, allowing him to support both creative and logistical needs. Kyle has worked with Alpenglow Media as a photographer and production assistant, contributing across commercial and documentary-style projects. He continues to build experience across commissioned and personal work, bringing reliability, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to every production.
